Meet the Team

Robert Tippett FCCA

I obtained a BA (Hons) degree in accountancy from Huddersfield University before gaining a training contract with a Doncaster accountancy Practice and qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002.

I became managing partner of Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in 2007. Since that time the business has grown to a size which puts us in a position to offer owner-managed businesses of all sizes af complete financial advisory service.

I have considerable experience with owner-managed businesses, from sole traders through partnerships and LLP's to larger £5 million plus turnover, limited companies. I also deal with member associations and charities.

I have a particular interest and expertise in tax planning for both individuals and companies, together with a belief that I should always be available to offer help and advice.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, socialising with friends, F1, Football and tinkering with my 1972 VW Bus.

Helen Li-Peart FCCA

I graduated from the University of Warwick in June 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co the following September. I completed my professional exams and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2013. During my time at Leesing Marrison Lee & Co, I have acquired invaluable experience in working closely with various owner managed businesses and I am knowledgeable in various aspects of VAT, payroll and personal tax.

I am actively involved in a variety of sports including running, martial arts and yoga. I am also a keen rock climber and devoted fan of Moto GP.

Hazel Chetty FCCA

I completed my B.Com degree in Accountancy from Adelaide University (Australia) in 1997. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007.

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in September 2015 and my main role is the preparation of accounts for Companies, Partnerships and Sole-traders.

Outside of work I look forward to travelling the world spending quality time with my loving family and enjoying the different cultures and exotic food. In my spare time I enjoy reading.

Zoe Summerill ACCA

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in September 2008 after leaving school. During my time at Leesing Marrison Lee & Co I have completed my professional exams, and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2017. My role within the company includes preparation of accounts for owner managed businesses, sole traders and partnerships. I also visit clients to assist with bookkeeping and VAT returns.

Most of my spare time is taken up by entertaining my young family, either at home or at soft play centres. The remainder of my time is spent socialising and visiting friends and family.

Emma Wilson ACCA

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in September 2011, where I have completed the AAT qualification and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in April 2017. My current role includes accounts preparation, bookkeeping and payroll.

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and going to concerts.

Jessica Gee

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in October 2011 where I completed my Business Administration qualification. I then chose to develop my career within the company by gaining my level 2 AAT qualification and my day to day role now includes preparing VAT returns and accounts for owner managed businesses.

In my spare time I enjoy making new memories with my little girl.

Steven Taylor

Steven joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in January 2015 as an apprentice. During his time within the company he studied towards and achieved his AAT qualification.

In his spare time, Steven enjoyed riding his motorbike, chilling with his cat Gizmo and attending music events with friends. Steven sadly passed away in June 2020 after being involved in a motorbike accident.

Stevens photo will stay on our meet the team page as he will always be part of our work family and is genuinely missed every day. His absence from our office has created a painful void, however we all have happy memories of time spent with Steven both in and away from the office.

Julie Valverde

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co in March 2018.

I have worked in a variety of different administration roles and have over 20 years’ experience working in an office environment. My main roles here as office administrator are answering the telephone, arranging appointments for clients, sending out letters, together with facilitating the smooth running of the office.

Other duties include scanning, filing and keeping time records, also ensuring that everyone in the office enjoys a good brew!

In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, socializing and spending time with my family.

Ted Tippett

I joined Leesing Marrison Lee & Co as a puppy in 2015. I have become a much loved member of the team and take my roll as Staff Welfare Officer seriously making sure everyone is welcomed into the office with a waggy tail and a ball.

In my spare time I enjoy long walks with my Mum, playing with my ball and chasing my cat sisters.
